Warning Signs for Depression and Anxiety

1. Hopeless Outlook
This is one of the most common symptoms of depression.
Depression often affects your whole outlook on life.
2. Loss of interest
Depression may take your enjoyment out of the things you love to do.
3. Uncontrollable emotions
One minute you could be feeling an outburst of anger and the next you could be crying uncontrollably.
4. Suicidal thoughts or actions
If you think someone is at immediate risk of self-harm or hurting another person:
Call 911 or your local emergency number.
Stay with the person until help arrives.
Listen and don’t judge.
In order to get help, it is important to recognize that you are depressed.
Seek help from adults in your life; they may lead you to get professional help.
